What Is Qigong?
Qigong can be thought of as the Grandmother of Tai Chi - and it’s simpler to learn. Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing art composed of flowing movements that benefit both your mind and your body. I teach a style developed by my teacher and mentor called Flowing Zen Qigong, which feels like a beautiful moving meditation. You don't need special equipment and no special clothing is required. All you need is a willingness to learn and clothing that you find comfortable and easy to move in.
There are several things about Qigong that I love and think you might too.
Here are five favourites:
1 - You can be proactive about your health, taking what you learn each week and practicing in the comfort of your own home.
2 - Qigong is good for you both physically and mentally, working different areas of the body and helping to relieve stress and the emotional overloads of every day life.
3 - You don't need to carve a lot of time out of your day to create a daily practice - 15 minutes will do it.
4 - Anyone can do it - you don't need to have athletic ability.
5 - You are doing something that is excellent for balancing your mind, body and spirit - and It feels really good when you do it!

FLOWING ZEN QIGONG - SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER CLASSES
These classes are best for those who have previously taken my Qigong classes or who have taken the Beginners Qigong Workshop. If you have taken qigong classes previously and would like to join this class, please get in touch with me using the registration button below. The teaching or style may be a little different than what you are accustomed to and I want to make sure that you will be happy with the class.
Please register for a specific class. If you know you won’t be able to attend the entire session, you are welcome to come on a drop-in basis at $20 per class. If there are occasions when you cannot make your regular class time, if space permits you will be more than welcome to attend the alternate class.
SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER - 6 WEEKS
Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm September 18, 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23. Saturdays 9:00am - 10:00am September 21, 28, October 5, 12, 19, 26.
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER - 6 WEEKS
Tuesday/Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm November 5 (Tues), 13, 20, 27, December 3 (Tues), 11. Saturdays 9:00am - 10:00am November 9, 16, 23, 30, December 7, 14.
6 Week Session Fee: $100
